It can be laid edge to edge or as we prefer in a brick fashion design. This ensures the tiles do not shift and remain square to one another. We advise laying the tiles wall to wall to stop any movement, if this cannot happen, then an edging or retaining strip will be required. They cut easily with a Stanley blade, just mind your fingers.
